Established in 1851, Pool & Sons (Hartley Wintney) Limited has a long history within the construction industry. During the late 19th century to mid-20th century, Pool & Sons engaged in lots of large construction contracts to supply housing, public buildings, and industrial & commercial properties. Many of these properties still exist today, scattered across the southern counties of England.
Today, Pool & Sons works are more diversified and we cover a large range of industry practices. These include carpentry, brickwork, flooring, decoration, plumbing, and electrical works to name a few. We cover both private and commercial works and are happy to work with anyone on all small to medium sized projects.
Some of our notable employers include Hampshire County Council (with whom we are county framework approved), many schools across Hampshire, West Berkshire and Surrey, Queen Marys College, Fowler Fortescue asset managers, Howell-Brooks LLP chartered surveyors, and Hampshire Fire & Rescue.
We also work alongside many distinguished contractors, providing our services where needed and enlisting their help where specific expertise is required. These include Anchor Maintenance, Gardner Mechanical Services Ltd, Ferris Painting, A. Purkis Builders and Decorators, Mitie Facility management, and Wessex Windows.
